A yummy stuffed mushroom is taken to new heights by wrapping it in bacon!

Ingredients
  • 18 white button mushrooms
  • 200g flavoured Cream cheese (such as Spring onion & Chive Cream Cheese or Roasted Garlic & Italian Herbs Cream Cheese) 
  • 10 slices / rashers of bacon (cut in half)
Preparations: 
  • Preheat your oven to 200c. Line a baking tray with baking paper or foil.
  • Peel the skin off of the mushrooms and remove the stems.
  • Spoon in some cream cheese into each mushroom cap, don't overfill.
  • Cut the bacon strips in half and wrap around each mushroom, securing with a toothpick.
  • Place the mushrooms on the lined baking sheet and bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
  • If you prefer the bacon crispier, you can place under the grill for a couple of minutes at the end of the cook time.
  • Remember to remove toothpicks before serving. Serving size is 3 mushrooms per person
