This recipe for BBQ Garlic Prawns with Avocado is a low carb recipe. Lovely at summer with a BBQ party, or heat up the grill on the stove in winter.
In a large bowl, mix together softened butter, olive oil, garlic, shallots, chives, salt, pepper and paprika; add the prawns, and toss to coat.
Lightly oil the barbecue's cooking grate. Cook the prawns as close to the flame as possible for 2 to 3 minutes per side, or until pink. Slice the avocado into thin slices and lay on a plate then top with the garlic prawns.
