Low Carb Breakfast

Start the day as you mean to go on with a delicious reduced carb breakfast.

There’s a reason why breakfast is called the most important meal of the day. A healthy breakfast helps kickstart your metabolism, stabilises blood sugar and gives you the energy for whatever your day has in store.

Break the carb cycle

Before you went low-carb, what did you eat for breakfast? Most of us opt for sugary cereal or carb-heavy toast. The problem with these options is that they start you off on the carb cycle. This means that by mid-morning your energy levels will crash, leaving you craving more sugar and carbs.

So instead, begin your day with a low carb breakfast, such as an omelette with cheese, red peppers and mushrooms. It’s rich in good fat, complex carbs and protein, which means energy is released slower and you’ll feel full until your next meal.
