These bacon wrapped prawns are easy to make in the oven or on the grill, and everybody loves them!

Ingredients
  • 450g large raw prawn (peeled, deveined, tail on)
  • sea salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 6-8 very thin slices of bacon (about 340g)
Preparations: 
  • Preheat the oven to 200°C and line a large baking tray with baking paper
  • Place the raw prawn into a bowl and sprinkle with seasonings. Drizzle olive oil and fresh lemon juice and gently toss to coat.
  • Cut the bacon strips in half and wrap each prawn in one bacon half-slice. Insert a toothpick through the bacon to secure the wrap.
  • Arrange the prawn in a single layer on the prepared pan. Roast the bacon wrapped prawn for 10-12 minutes, flipping it halfway.
  • Once the prawn is done, carefully remove the toothpicks and transfer it to a serving plate.
