Ingredients
  • 1 1/3 tablespoons Tamari Soybean Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Maple Syrup (sugar-free)
  • 1/3 tablespoon Miso paste, brown, red, white
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon Sesame Oil
  • 680g boneless, raw Salmon
Preparations:
  • Heat oven to 230°C
  • Combine the soy sauce soy sauce, maple syrup, 1 teaspoon miso, minced garlic, and oil in a bowl. Stir to dissolve miso, set aside.
  • Heat a large ovenproof nonstick pan over medium-high heat. Add fillets, skin side down. Press down lightly with a spatula to sear skin; cook 3 to 4 minutes until skin is crisped.
  • Spoon half the sauce over fish. Transfer pan to oven. Bake 6 minutes for medium-rare doneness (bake longer, if desired). Spoon remaining sauce over hot fish.
  • Optional: Garnish with seasame seeds
