Ingredients
  • 900 g ground turkey
  • 115 g shredded cheddar cheese
  • 240 g bacon crumbles
  • 1 tbsp coconut flour
  • 2 tsp garlic salt
Preparations:
  • Make the bacon crumbles first. Take frozen bacon and using a sharp, large knife, cut the bacon into small ¼ inch pieces.
  • Place the bacon in a medium-hot pan and as it heats, break the bacon apart while stirring.
  • Cook the bacon until it reaches a good level of crispiness and then move bacon from the pan with a slotted spoon or spatula; drain on a paper towel. Let the bacon cool to room temperature.
  • Once bacon is cool, combine all the ingredients in a large bowl and fold them together. Form into 6 burger patties and then place them on a tray with baking paper.
  • Cook on medium to high heat in a large pan sprayed with cooking spray for 7-8 minutes until the bottom is browned. Flip and cover with a lid. Cook an additional 5-8 minutes.
